Who can resist delicious walleye fillets topped with perfectly seasoned sauce?
Also needed
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
- 60 ml (¼ cup) shallots, chopped
Optional
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Sear the walleye fillets for 2 minutes on each side. Remove the fish from the pan.
- In the same pan, cook the mushrooms and shallots for 2 minutes. Pour in the wine and cook over medium heat until the liquid has completely evaporated.
- Pour in the cream and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the herbs and fish. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Was a delicious meal we put it over rice it was great but I would season the fish while cooking and not at the end like recipe calls for
