Cadbury Creme Egg Lava Cake

Ingredients

  • 100 g (3 1/2 oz.) dark chocolate (70%), cut into pieces 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) sugar 
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) flour 
  • 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs 
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C (400°F).
  2. Generously grease 4 ramekins.
  3. Melt the chocolate and the butter in a bain-marie water bath.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt until light and fluffy. Add the flour gradually.
  5. Fold the egg mixture into the melted chocolate. Stir until batter is smooth.
  6. Divide half of the batter into the ramekins. Insert a Cadbury Creme Egg in the centre of each ramekin and cover with the rest of the batter.
  7. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
