Homemade Strawberry and Raspberry Jell-O

Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) raspberries
- 250 ml (1 cup) strawberries, sliced
- 500 ml (2 cups) pomegranate juice
- 1 packet (8 g) unflavoured gelatin
Preparation
- Place the berries in a pot, pour in the pomegranate juice and stir. Bring to a boil, and then remove from the heat. Let stand for 15 minutes.
- Use a fine strainer to drain the pot over a bowl. Discard the berries.
- Transfer 80 ml (⅓ cup) of the juice into another bowl. Add the gelatin to this bowl and stir. Let bloom for 5 minutes.
- Put the juice from the other bowl back into the pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat.
- Heat the gelatin mixture in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. Pour into the pot and stir. Let cool.
- Divide the Jell-O into 6 to 8 glass dishes. Refrigerate for 5 to 6 hours, until the Jell-O is set.
