Mini Chocolate and Maple Cones

Ingredients

  • 100 g (3 1/2 oz.) milk chocolate chips 
  • 12 mini cones 
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) warm maple butter 
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) maple flakes

Preparation

  1. Pierce small holes in the bottom of an egg carton. Turn it upside down and use it to hold the mini cones upright.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a bain-marie.
  3. Pour a little melted chocolate into the mini cones to coat the inside walls. Dip the tops of the mini cones into the melted chocolate. Let cool in the egg carton.
  4. Divide the maple butter among the mini cones. Sprinkle with maple flakes. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
