Provençal Tuna Casserole

Provençal Tuna Casserole

Here’s one of our most comforting one-pot recipes! And remember what they say about tomato dishes—they’re even better reheated the next day!

Ingredients

  • Poivron
  • Courgette
  • Tomates en dés ail et huile d'olive
  • Thon
  • Mozzarella râpée

Also needed

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped

Optional

  • 10 ml (2 tsp) fresh thyme, chopped

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C (400°F).
  2. Dice the peppers and zucchinis.
  3. Heat the oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Sear the onion for 1 minute. Add the diced pepper and zucchini. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes, tuna, and thyme if desired. Bring to a boil.
  5. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
