Sausage meat and zucchini quickly soak up the flavour of a delicious tomato broth!

Ingredients

  • Saucisse italienne
  • Mélange de légumes frais pour sauce à spaghetti
  • Courgette
  • Tomates en dés
  • crème de tomate condensée

Also needed

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 250 ml (1 cup) chicken stock

Optional

  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 oregano, sprig

Preparation

  1. Remove the casing from the sausages.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the sausage meat for 2 to 3 minutes, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add the vegetables for spaghetti sauce and the zucchinis. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes, cream of tomato soup, stock, and herbs, if desired.
  5. Simmer over medium-low heat for 12 to 15 minutes.
